History
The roots of MaxID stretch back more than 15 years with a small group of innovative engineers. They worked together in a number of bespoke product development companies, primarily creating products for government applications in developing countries.
The work to make these products more applicable to the world-wide market commenced in 2005, with the establishment of MaxID Limited in the United Kingdom to act as the sales and distribution channel for auto-identification technology primarily in the growing RFID sector. Through offices in UK and USA, MaxID introduced a series of biometric and auto-id handheld products sold through a rapidly expanding reseller network.
MaxID Corp. was formed in 2007 to act as the parent company and global headquarters of this rapidly-expanding worldwide group which now has products being sold in 3 continents – North America, Europe and Africa. With new investment in the Group in mid 2007, we were able to acquire all the historical intellectual property of our innovative engineers and build on our existing research and development team.

Our Products
Our expertise lies in the design and development of rugged mobile terminals and the ancillary technologies for data acquisition and communications such as biometric applications, RFID, Barcode scanning, GPS positioning, and GSM/GPRS.
All of our products share these common threads allowing us to take a modular approach to our product architecture substantially reducing the time taken to bring new products to market and the reliability of our products once they are in the market.
