iDL3ID
The iDL3ID is MaxID’s rugged mobile computer which has been purpose designed for the complete range of identity management solutions. With the iDL3ID you can authenticate a wide variety of identity documents and enrol subjects using its FIPS-approved fingerprint reader.
As the iDL3ID has a wide range of connectivity fully integrated, looking up and writing data on remote databases enables an operator to obtain and provide real-time information about a subject.
A completely rugged solution, the iDL3ID comes complete with integrated GSM/GPRS/EDGE and WiFi and can read ISO 15693 and ISO 14443 contactless cards and passports. It has an integrated 1-D and 2-D barcode reader to verify data against driving licenses and similar identity documents.
With its integrated GPS receiver, the data being captured can be pinpointed to a precise location while the high-resolution camera permits enrolment or infraction photography. As the iDL3ID uses Microsoft® Windows CE.Net 5.0, this provides a flexible platform to enable custom application development. Battery life is designed to last a typical shift, but the battery is also hot-swappable, permitting continuity of data and operation in all circumstances.
Ergonomically designed to sit easily in the operator’s hand, the iDL3ID weighs less than 1½ pounds and therefore provides a truly mobile and flexible identity management tool.
