Looks can be deceiving. The iDL Junior has been ergonomically designed for use in any harsh environments. It is sealed to IP64 standards for protection against rain and dust, and rugged enough to withstand 1.2m drops to concrete – across the entire operating temperature range.
The iDL Junior is a rugged handheld device that incorporates a high resolution colour camera, GPS location sensor, comprehensive communications features and other peripherals designed for the rigors of all-day, everyday usage.
The iDL Junior comes with a generous 64MB RAM, 128MB ROM, and SD Card memory expansion for application or data storage needs, and its Intel PXA 270 processor allows application to run at optimal speeds, keeping pace with industrial demands. A 2400mAh rechargeable Li-Polymer battery delivers at least 8 hours* of operations, enough for a full shift working environment. With integrated WLAN communication, it extends the reach of IT resources, enabling real-time information flow anywhere, anytime.
The iDL Junior is designed with our customers in mind. Customers have the flexibility to select GSM / GPRS, WLAN, GPS or other options to be integrated into a single unit. What’s more, based on Microsoft® CE 5.0 platform and utilizing the .NET Compact Framework 2.0, the iDL Junior offers an open, flexible platform for faster and easier application development and porting.
The iDL Junior incorporates a 2M pixel digital colour camera together with a high brightness LED illumination system that allows the iDL Junior to take pictures of superior quality all day long – even in challenging low-light conditions.
