Gia3
The Gia 3 POS terminal has been designed for mobile applications. It is a small ergonomic lightweight device with all the required features for Point of Sale applications.
The Gia 3 permits business professionals, delivery personnel, service providers and field technicians to accept payments wherever there is a cellphone signal. It is ideal for use in industries such as hospitality, leisure and tourism, for tradesmen providing a service to a home or business and any delivery of goods or food requiring cash on delivery. Additionally, the Gia 3 thrives in any geography where access to landlines or internet connectivity is not guaranteed.
The Gia 3 is a battery powered terminal with a built in GSM modem. It is a self- contained unit with a secure keyboard to allow for PCI PED PIN entry, with no need for a separate pinpad. The backlit display caters for a number of fonts as well as graphics images. An optional colour display is also available.
It has an EMV level 1 certified smart card reader, and can do EMV level 2 transactions. The magnetic stripe reader allows for a wide range of swiping speeds to capture the magnetic track accurately and efficiently.
