HR250

Looks can be deceiving. The HR250 has been ergonomically designed for use in harsh environments. It is sealed to IP64 standards for protection against rain and dust, and rugged enough to withstand 1.2m drops to concrete – across the entire operating temperature range.
The HR250 is a rugged handheld device that incorporates a high performance, multi-region, UHF RFID reader, a laser barcode scanner, and comprehensive communications features which have all been designed for the rigors of all-day, everyday usage.
The HR250 comes with a generous 64MB RAM & 32MB ROM for application and data storage needs. Its iMX ARM 9 processor running at 200MHz allows applications to run at optimal speeds, keeping pace with industrial demands. A 2100mAh rechargeable Li-Polymer battery delivers at least 8 hours* of operational use, enough for a full shift working environment. With integrated WLAN communication, it extends the reach of IT resources, enabling real-time information flow anywhere, anytime.
The HR250 is designed with our customers in mind. Running Microsoft® Windows CE .NET 4.2, the HR250 offers an open, flexible platform. It is supplied with a comprehensive Software Development Kit to enable faster and easier application development.
The HR250 incorporates an advanced UHF RFID reader that leverages the latest digital filter technology to deliver superior interference management and is optimized to read tags in both clean and noisy radio environments. The reader is fully programmable allowing parameters such as output power to be dynamically configured as an application demands. Powerful “select” commands allow the reader to differentiate between groups of tags by their data content.
The integrated laser barcode scanner uses a highly advanced retro-collective optical design that provides a superior working range, regardless of lighting or barcode symbology. Scanning speed is optimized to provide aggressive read times - the result is the rapid and accurate scanning needed to improve worker productivity.
